The Crown of Gilded Bones (From Blood and Ash # 3)

So far, I hate almost everyone in this book except for Wolven and Cas. 

Alstair betrays them. He is an entitled jerk who is working with Jansen. Jansen is a changeling who did a lot of horrible things including killing a child, pretending to be people, and imprisoning Poppy. He is a so-called guardian but I'm not buying it.

What is this Prophesy? Alstair was there the night her parents died and betrayed her parents. Poppy's mom was a handmaiden to the queen. What does this mean? Alstair wants her dead and to give her to the ascended. He thinks she can't control herself and her rage. They drugged her. Casteel, Kieran and Jasper are hurt :( 

Wolven, Cas, and Cas's father rescue her 

Alstair is dead. Thank God she didn't actually ascend. Poor Kieran- He's watched them have sex like three times What is the Brotherhood? Alstair is still alive but going to be killed. What is poppy? God the shower scene

Attack by unseen This was so creepy. They had no faces. King (cas' father) protected her ❤️

Iliseeum- land of the gods. why do I feel like they are going there at some point? 

Poppy's character development and gift development She saved the little girl, and brought her back ❤️How is Malec her father? Poppy is a deity

Meeting with her brother He's ascended. He knows the truth? Is he different? He tells them to wake nyktos. This seems like a bad idea. I knew that they would have to go to Iliseeum.  Who is this other man posing as the dark one? 

Revenants? They can't be killed and they come back whole. They are the third sons and daughters.  bastards 

Coronation. I loved everything about this scene. Except for Lords Gregori and Ambrose. Willa was the woman at the red pearl who brought them together, I love that. 

Meeting with the queen Tawny did not ascend. Is Malik controlled by the queen? The Queen planned for her to marry Malik. The Queen is not vampry. She is Poppy's mother and Isbeth didn't see that coming. Malec was a God. Poppy had a brother, not Ian. Ian was killed :( 

Aftermath Tawny is hurt and Casteel was captured. Poppy is going to summon the draken. Malec is not her father, Ires, his twin is. Ires is imprisoned by Isbeth  King Jalara is dead.

Not a single person in the entirety of either kingdom would be surprised by that.
